First post from the MacBook Pro.
I do know its okay to be jealous.
I was jealous of you people too, especially when you people get new phones and new computers.
I guess this is my chance to get my first ever laptop.
All these while, I've never asked much from parents. At most I would probably ask for money for going out with friends. Dad always gives extra while mom always give less. Normally Dad would just give like hundred as pocket money and I stretch the money for like 2-3 months.
My sisters and brother was always asking for new stuffs while I'm always using the same old stuffs like my desktop and flame sneakers.
I didnt ask for the macbook if you ever wondered. He was buying it cuz the college website requires a macbook pro for the courses. But I did ask for a new shoe.
It was a few weeks ago when I finally got the guts to ask my dad for a new shoe. The flaming sneakers might look nice on the outside but inside, the shoe is totally a wreck.
So, he brought me to Jusco to look for some and almost all are >200. Went to Al-Ikhsan at Medan Ipoh but still the same >200 and limited designs.
Today, we had to go collect the macbook and was caught up with the auto update thingy which was very slow. So, the store staff asked us to go walk around or maybe get a drink or sth and dad said, "Lets go buy your shoe" and I was like okay sure. So, we went to Foot Action in Ipoh Perade scouted for awhile but cant find any. Then Al-Ikhsan. When I was about to give up looking for one, I spotted a Puma shoes. The one that was sort of perfect. It was red and white but they didnt have size 10 so I picked the white and black one which was as nice as the red and white one.

Cherish your parents when you still have chance to.
When you leave to further your studies, the chances of seeing your parents is very low.
The only things that can keep you and your parents in-touch would probably be a long distant phone call or msn and skype.
